Pella Christian is out to a one-and-oh start in district play following it hard fought win over Des Moines Christian Friday night. Coach Rich Kacmarynski says starting one up in district play is good but he notes there are improvements to be made especially defensively. He says offensively things are clicking pretty well but he would still like to see more improvements specifically in the passing attack. He noted he was very pleased with the play of quarterback Kyle Nikkel in the fourth quarter Friday night and says they would like to see that type of play for all four quarters. Pella Christian travels to Pleasantville Friday night for The Trojans homecoming. You can hear the game broadcast live on 92-point-one KRLS with Jamie Brockman and Larry Hessing. It will also be streamed live on kniakrls.com
