Knoxville Fire & Rescue and Knoxville Police Departments responded to the intersection of Pleasant and Park Lane Streets Monday morning, when Knoxville Water Works Crews accidently struck and cut a 2-inch gas line. Knoxville Fire Chief Mike Roberts tells KNIA/KRLS News water works crews called ahead before they began digging, but the line was not listed when they began to fix a fire hydrant at the intersection. Alliant Energy were called out to fix the line. The VA Campus Fire department also responded.
