Students at Pella Christian High School are off for their annual all-school retreat Wednesday. The students will spend the day at Maytag Park in Newton enjoying various activities and taking part in fellowship together. Pella Christian High School Principal Darryl De Ruiter says the school’s ability to take the retreat together is a rarity for Iowa schools, and the students and staff really enjoy the chance to spend time together outside the classrooms. The school typically takes the retreat together every other year.
