Pella swept Newton 3-0 last night in their Little Hawkeye Conference volleyball opener 25-10, 25-11 and 25-19. Hali Steenhoek had 13 kills and 3 blocks, Jordyn Vandelune had 3 blocks, Brooke Fessler had 29 assists and 3 blocks, Kelsi Rempe had 5 ace serves, Lindsay Bentzinger had 8 digs. Pella is 11-3 overall and 1-0 in the LHC. They will Travel to the Dubuque Wahlert tournament Saturday.
