Sam Abens was named Knoxville High School’s 2009 Homecoming Queen yesterday at a pep-rally at Ken Locke Stadium. Jay Galeazzi, was also named Homecoming King at the event, which saw hundreds of residents, students and alumni gathered. Today, the Knoxville Homecoming Parade will begin at 3 p.m. Tonight, the Knoxville High School football team plays Norwalk at Ken Locke Stadium, and you can tune in to AM-1320 KNIA at 7 p.m. Friday for pre-game coverage.
