Knoxville and Pella Christian play for a slice of first place in the Little Hawkeye Conference volleyball race tonight. The Panthers are 3-0 in L-H-C play and own victories over Grinnell, Norwalk, and Oskaloosa. Coach Eric Fee says this is a great opportunity to become that third team that can battle for the L-H-C title. He also says the key for his team tonight is to stay in rhythm. Knoxville is eight-and-six overall after a two-and-three day over the weekend at Ballard. Pella Christian meanwhile enters the match with a week and a half rest and a 2-0 conference record with wins over Nrowalk and South Tama. Coach JHohn Evenhouse says he knows fully Knoxville is a much improved team this season. The Panthers beat the Eagles in a team camp this summer and Evenhouse says they cannot afford to make little mistakes to be succsessful tongiht. Freshman and J-V matches get started at around 5:30 with the varsity set to begin at 7:30.
