Pella Christian hopes to stay undefeated and on top of Class 1A District 6 when they host Central Decatur tonight, but could face some tough challenges. Eagles coach Rich Kacmarynski says Central Decatur has several offensive weapons that will keep the Eagles defense guessing but he says a big key will be the Eagle offense controlling the clock and keeping the ball away from them. Central Decatur quarterback Preston Pedersen leads the team in rushing with 345 yards and five touchdowns and Kacmarynski says the defense has got to pressure him and take him out of his comfort zone. Kacmarynski says the Eagles had a great week of practice and he feels they are playing their best football of the year and really developing as a complete team in all phases and feels confident they are up to the challenge tonight. You can hear coverage of tonights game streamed live on kniakrls.com with Jamie Brockman and Nate Van Wyk starting with the pregame at 6:30pm and kickoff at 7pm tonight. There will also be a delayed broadcast of the game at 11pm tonight on 92.1 FM KRLS after Radio Iowa’s Football Friday Nights.
