Last night was a breakout night for the Pleasantville as the Trojans crushed Wayne 40-to-eight for their first win of the season. The Trojans dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the football throughout the evening, which shut down the Falcons running game and opened up Pleasantville’s offensive attack. Bobby Beier used the extra time given by his offensive line to throw four touchdown passes, including a 20 yard strike to D-J Weaver in the closing seconds of the first half. The Trojan defensive forced five turnovers, with three interceptions and two fumble recoveries. Wes Prill nabbed two picks in the first half, and would later score on a 32 yard touchdown pass from Bobby Beier. Pleasantville will travel to I-35 next Friday, which you can listen to the live stream on KNIA KRLS dot com.
