Pella Christian got back on track in the Little Hawkeye Conference after falling to Oskaloosa last week with a 3-0 sweep at home over Newton last night 25-18, 25-22 and 25-17. Jenna Horstman had a great night with 10 kills and 5 blocks to lead the team in both categories, Meredith Fopma contributed 8 kills, Bekkah Posthuma dished out 30 assists and Darci Jansen had 6 digs. Courtney Kroeze had 4 ace serves and 3 blocks and Courtney Van Kooten also had 4 ace serves. The Eagles improved to 12-9 overall and 4-1 in the LHC. They now get a week off before hosting Grinnell next Tuesday.
