The Knoxville City Council approved a resolution of reimbursement this week which would qualify various city project funds for a bond-issue. That’s according to Knoxville City Manager Dick Schrad. He says that doing a bond-issue on the 118th Street overlay project north of McGregor Street, new construction at the cemetery, and other projects would get the work done without affecting the levy rate for taxpayers. The approval of the bond-issue itself is set at a future council meeting.
