A truck caught some electrical lines on a pole on Marion Street in Knoxville east of the railroad tracks Wednesday afternoon, delaying traffic and causing temporary power outages for homes and businesses on the square. Knoxville Fire & Rescue, Knoxville Police Department, Marion County Emergency Management, and Knoxville Public Works responded to the scene, along with Mid-American Energy, who later restored power.
