Open casting calls will be held in Pella Thursday for a movie being filmed in the Iowa City Area. “Collapse” is written and directed by Mike Saunders and co-directed by Jason Bolinger; both of Ottumwa.

The film tells the story of a struggling small town farmer whose world is suddenly overrun by zombies. Shooting of the film will take place over a five week period.

The casting call for background extras and/or zombies and will be held at the PMS Casting office on 711 East 1st Street near the Vermeer Mill in Pella from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday night. For more information, visit www. pmscasting.com.
