Pella is looking to rebound in a big way and stay in the playoff hunt tonight when they host undefeated co-district leader Grinnell. After a disappointing loss at Carlisle last week coach Jay Mckinstrey says the guys have responded this week in a positive manner with great leadership and he feels they’ve been more focused than they have all year. He says Grinnell brings a team that is very aggressive and physical and will present different challenges throughout the game. He says the weather will be a factor in tonight’s game also and something the players will have to adjust to. A Pella win tonight will put them back in a playoff position in the top four of Class 3A District 6 and although a loss would not eliminate them from post season with three games remaining, it would make the road a little tougher. You can hear tonight’s game streamed live on kniakrls.com with Jamie Brockman and Randy Sikkema starting with the pre game at 7pm and kickoff at 7:30pm. CLICK HERE TO LISTEN. There will also be a delayed broadcast of the game at 11pm tonight on 92.1 FM KRLS following Radio Iowa’s Football Friday Nights.
