An Army Private with ties to Melcher-Dallas has just graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina. An Army spokesperson says Justin D. Hann studied the Army mission and received instruction and practice in drill and ceremony, marksmanship, and map reading, among other traditions. Hann is the son of David Hann of Melcher-Dallas.
