Pella Christian travels to Nodaway Valley tonight in what figures to be an important game in the District 6 race. As with many games throughout the state, weather and field conditions will likely play a major factor in the outcome of the game, and Eagles’ Head Coach Rich Kacmyrinski says that makes other points of the game all the more important.

“I think field position becomes even more critical, therefore special teams becomes more critical, and turnovers become more critical,” Kacmarynski said Thursday. “Weather definitely can play a big factor as a game, and I think as a coach you try and put your team in a position where they can be successful.”

The Wolverines are in a tie for the second-best record in the district, while the Eagles are looking to move up to 4-0 and try and lock up another district title. Live coverage of the Pella Christian and Nodaway Valley football game in Greenfield will begin at 6:30 p.m. on 92.1 fm KRLS, with Eric Gotschall and Larry Hessing providing the call.
