The Pella cross country teams will run at their final tune-up before the conference meet today, when the Little Dutch take part in a meet at Norwalk. Pella coach Doug Cutler says the course is not their favorite to run on, but they are looking forward to some of the competition they’ll face.

“It’s not our favorite course because it’s not as hilly,” Cutler says. “Our team tends to really enjoy the courses that are a little more challenging with hills, but Grinnell will be there, along with Winterset for the boys, and Ballard for the girls are other teams we’re interested in seeing how we stack up against them.”

Cutler adds that some of his runners will take the meet off in preparation for the Little Hawkeye Conference Meet, which will be held next Monday in Pella. Today’s meet in Norwalk begins at 4:30 p.m.
