Melcher-Dallas got its first district win Friday night over Seymour 66-to-22. The Saints now with a one-and-two record in district play can clinch a postseason berth with a win over Moravia nest Friday. In fact, Coach Chris Peterson says with wins in the last two games the Saints would get a third seed and likely avoid playing Lenox in the first round. He says anytime you can avoid Lenox in the playoffs, it is a good thing.
