Construction crews accidentally cut a 2-inch gas line at 5th and Washington Street in Knoxville Monday morning, with no injuries. The Knoxville Fire & Rescue, Knoxville Police, and Alliant Energy responded to scene, and had the line repaired in approximately 45 minutes.
