A 24-year-old Des Moines woman was killed near Hartford Sunday, after her car ran a stop sign and was struck by a pick-up driven by a 33-year-old Knoxville man. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office tells KNIA/KRLS News that Jennifer Peacock’s vehicle was traveling northbound on highway S-31, when the vehicle failed to yield and went through the intersection of highway 5, entering the path of the pick-up truck driven by Jarred Roy. Peacock was pronounced dead at the scene, with no reported injuries for Roy. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office is continuing the investigation.
