The Pella volleyball accomplished one of their season goals last week, as they locked up the outright conference title with a win over Norwalk. That wasn’t the only goal the Little Dutch set this season, though, and as Head Coach Bob Fessler explains, the girls have made a slight adjustment to one of their goals, and still have the second one square in their sights.

“Way back at the beginning of the year when we did our goal setting, they had two goals: they wanted to one, go undefeated in the conference, and two, try to go undefeated in sets,” said Fessler. “We lost a set to Pella Christian and we haven’t dropped one other than that. So we’ve readjusted a little bit, and now our goal is to go 7-0 and only lose that one set.”

Pella’s final regular season match, and their last in the Little Hawkeye Conference, will pit the Little Dutch against the Indians of Oskaloosa. Pella makes the short trip down Highway 163 tonight with action starting with the freshman match at 5:30 p.m.
