Class 1A volleyball Regionals get going in earnest tonight as two area teams will start their postseason roads. Second ranked Twin Cedars will host Lynnville-Sully as the Sabers try to continue their unbeaten string. Twin Cedars is 19-0 and have only lost four games the entire season. Lindsay Hoehns leads the team with an astounding 338 kills on the season, but it all is not about Hoehns as Alee Hugen has thumped down 111 kills of her own. Also.., helping out on assists is Daniela Goemaat with 430. You can hear Twin Cedars battle Lynnville Sully tonight on AM 1320 KNIA starting at 6:45pm. It will also be streamed live on kniakrls.com and will be available for on demand or download by clickng radio plus. Meanwhile Melcher-Dallas welcomes Southeast Warren for a first round match. The Saints are 15-5 on the season and since September 12th have won ten of their last 11 matches. Melcher-Dallas and Southeast Warren met in an early season match with the Saints winning two games to none in a weekend tournament.
