A Pella resident was charged with possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, marijuana, following a vehicle stop early Friday morning. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office tells KNIA/KRLS News 21-year-old Jessica Marie Vos was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, following a traffic stop at 1:29 a.m. in the 300 block of Highway T-14, North of Pella.

Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies stopped Vos’s car after the vehicle failed to use caution when approaching their emergency lights while they were were responding to an unrelated incident involving livestock in the roadway. Vos was arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail, where she was charged.
