A Melcher-Dallas resident was taken to the hospital this week after he was stabbed twice in the back with non life threatening injuries. Marion County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Mel Vander Weil tells KNIA/KRLS News that both the victim and the suspect were acquainted with each other, and Vander Weil stresses it was an isolated incident. The case remains under investigation by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
