P-C-M had two running backs that were within 30 yards of each other.  Joe Gilson and Hutch Burns made it tough for opposing teams to stop the Mustangs this season.  Burns had 707 yards and nine touchdowns and Gilson ran for 681 yards and nine touchdowns.  Coach Dar Dahms says those two along with several other players was the reason P-C-M made the postseason. Not only were Burns and Gilson close in yards and touchdowns, but their averages were close as well, Burns averaged 7.4 yards per carry while Gilson averaged 6.1.  P-C-M finished 4-6 on the season and lost to Kuemper in the class 2A sub state.
