Knoxville Raceway Race Director Ralph Capitani was awarded the 2009 Ted Johnson Memorial Award for Outstanding Contribution to the sport of sprint car racing. World Racing Group Chief Executive Officer Brian Carter accepted the award for Capitani. Cappy says it’s an honor to receive the award and is already looking forward to the 2010 racing season.
