The Veteran’s Day free Breakfast held by the Knoxville Hy-Vee at the Skate Pit was an overwhelming success, according to store manager Jeff Killam. Approximately 380 breakfasts were served, up from approximately 300 last year. Killam tells KNIA KRLS News that the Veteran’s Day breakfast is probably the most rewarding event that the store hosts all year.
