The Annual Marion County 4-H Recognition Banquet Saturday recognized 78 people at the Crossroads Hall in Knoxville. County 4-H Youth Coordinator Kim Davis says the event honored 4-H members for their projects involving farm animals, child development, clothing, communications, home improvement, horticulture and photography, among others. Special awards were also given out based on merit, achievement, and club awards, among others. The banquet is a chance for families, volunteers, and 4-H supporters to celebrate the end of a successful 4-H year and to recognize the accomplishments of the members, leaders, families and all volunteers.
