KNIA/KRLS has begun playing Christmas music today, as Marion County is kicking-off the holiday season. Living Windows 2009 is tonight from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Knoxville square, presented by the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce and the Mentor Study Group. Tomorrow, shining parade floats will be gliding around the Knoxville Square Friday at 7 p.m. for the 2009 Lighted Parade. The KNIA/KRLS Big Red Radio will be at both events, playing Christmas Music. Residents are also encouraged to bring food which will be collected for the 8th Annual KNIA/KRLS Food Drive during the event: help us fill up the Big Red Radio and together we’ll help fill the local food banks of Marion County. For a list of all locations for you to drop-off your non-perishable food donations, you can visit kniakrls.com and click on ‘Station Events’.
