A memorial service with military honors for Virgil Berns “Mac” Macdonnell, age 85, of Des Moines will be held at 11:00 am on today at Williams Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service with the services concluding at the funeral home. Private family interment will be held at a later date.
