P-C-M got its defense of its Heart of Iowa Conference Championship off to a success start by beating Grandview Park Baptist last night 45-26. The Mustangs are now 2-0 on the season. Once again the P-C-M girls will be lead by two seniors. Shelby Houseman and Taylor Van Roekel are two players Coach Ben Anderson will count on this season to get the team together and lead the underclassmen. Anderson says both have had very good careers. Anderson adds Houseman has been all Heart of Iowa Conference for the last two years. Anderson adds both seniors have been with the varsity for at least two years and know the system and how things work.
