A 32-year-old Knoxville resident was charged with possession of 5 pounds of marijuana with intent to deliver Monday. Knoxville Police Department Chief Dan Losada says Members of the state Division of Narcotics Enforcement, Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies, and Knoxville police officers, were involved in the arrest of John Keoni Lawrence Baxter. Baxter was also charged with failure to affix a drug tax stamp following the traffic stop on highway 14. Baxter has a preliminary hearing set December 11.
