All sports at Knoxville High School were called off due to the severe winter weather that has struck Marion County. The Knoxville and Pella Christian varsity double header was called off earlier in the day and rescheduled to Monday December 14th. The Panthers head to Newton on Friday for a girl/boy double header. Next up for Pella Christian is a road game at Oskaloosa on 92-point-one KRLS.

Also getting the no-go due to Old Man Winter is P-C-M boys and girls at Gilbert. The girls will head to Gilbert on February eighth for a varsity only at seven-30…while the boys will head to Gilbert on February 11th as a J-V/Varsity double header. P-C-M will host Bondurant-Farrar on Friday, you can hear it streamed live on kniakrls.com.

Also getting the cancel stamp today was Pleasantville at Wayne. No word on when that match up will be rescheduled. The Trojans will travel to Martensdale St. Mary’s on Friday night.

Twin Cedars and Melcher-Dallas were not scheduled to play last night. The Saints will travel to Moravia on Friday and then host Chariton on Saturday. The Sabers will host Diagonal on Friday and Southeast Warren on Saturday.

There is no sports scheduled for tonight, however a big wrestling meet tomorrow night is Pella hosting Knoxville. This is the first conference dual of the season for the Little Dutch and the second for Knoxville.
