Knoxville had the night off last night. The Panther girls are coming off of a 61-45 win over Pella Christian which featured some hot shooting for Knoxville from beyond the three-point arc. Alex Abens and Lacy Stevenson had 16 points, and Sam Abens had 15. Coach Jim Utimarkt says if those three can get that production, Knoxville could be very tough to beat. The boys are one-and-three on the season after a loss to Pella Christian on Monday. Coach Brad McWilliams says his team needs to be more mentally tough. He adds his players must play through any adversity that comes their way. Knoxville will take on Albia tomorrow night in a non-conference game then host Norwalk on Friday.
