Knoxville plays a rare Thursday night basketball double header at Albia tonight. The Panther girls are coming off a win over Pella Christian on Monday night and stand at six-and-oh and are ranked number 11 in the latest class three-A poll from the Iowa High School Girls Union. The boys are hoping to get back on track after a tough loss to Pella Christian on Monday. Coach Brad McWilliams says Albia is a very good team and the Panthers will have to play well to get a win. McWilliams says the team is getting better at making decisions and playing together. The girl’s game gets underway at six-15 with the boys to follow.
