The Knoxville girls have been going back to the basics in practice during the break. Coach Jim Utiermarkt says they have been telling the players to slow down their thinking when running the offense…something that is not as easy as it seems. They have also spent working on footwork because many of their turnovers in the first part of the season were lifting the pivot foot before the first dribble. Knoxville takes on Pella for first place in the Little Hawkeye Conference Tuesday, a game you can hear both on KNIA and KRLS.
