The Pella Christian boys are hoping to gain a little more depth on their bench very soon. Cole Warner has missed the entire season so far with a kneecap injury and that has left the Eagles with just eight players to chose from. Coach Larry Hessing says they expect to re gain the services of Warner within the next week. Hessing says once Warner returns to their line up it will allow them to mix things up a little bit which they haven’t been able to do so far. Warner did play some mintes in the win at Ballard earlier this season but re injured his kneecap just a few minutes into the game. Hessing says they feel much better about his return this time around. The Eagles are 6-1 overall and 4-1 in the LHC tied with Grinnell for second place. They have a big week this week coming out of the break as they host Grinnell tomorrow night then travel to conference co-leader Norwalk Friday night. A win in both of those games will put the Eagles right back in contention for a LHC title.
