Marion County is facing more winter weather. The National Weather Service is calling for snowfall to continue through Thursday evening, along with strong winds. State Climatologist Harry Hillaker says wind speeds of 15 to 25 miles per hour will easily blow around the light, dry snow as it falls, creating reduced visibility. Hillaker adds that wind speeds will also create wind chill readings even colder that what has already been experienced in the region. A winter storm warning remains in effect through 6:00 p.m. Thursday.
