Emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle accident west of Pella Monday morning. The accident happened at approximately 7:30am on County Highway G-28 near the Hunter Ridge Area. A vehicle lost control and left the roadway coming to rest at the bottom of a steep embankment. Officials at the scene say injuries sustained by the driver did not appear to be life-threatening. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Pella Ambulance, and Pella Rural Fire Department all responded to the scene. KNIA/KRLS News will bring you more information as soon as it becomes official.
