Christian recording artist Jamie Soles will perform the first of a series of concerts in Pella tonight. Soles is from Alberta, Canada, and plays a variety of Christian-based songs for audiences of all ages. “I would suggest that we’re probably more of a family-oriented concert than we are a kids’ concert,” says Soles. “The songs really do range a good ways, and a lot of them assume a fairly decent knowledge of the Bible and Bible stories, so the folks who know their Bibles benefit, really quite well, from these concerts.”

Soles first concert will be held at the Smokey Row Coffee House in downtown Pella at 7:30 tonight. Soles will hold three more performances on Tuesday, including a feature concert at the Faith Christian Reformed Church at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night. Tickets are not required for any of the performances.
