Even though the Pella Christian boys fell at Norwalk 60-54 Friday night , Coach Larry Hessing was pretty satisfied with how they played and battled against a taller, stronger Norwalk team. Hessing said they’re still not exactly where he would liek them to be at this point but things are coming along well. He said he feels pretty good as they head into the second round of Little Hawkeye Conference games. The Eagles are 5-2 in the LHC currently in second place, two games behind undefeated conference co-leaders Norwalk and Pella who play each other tomorrow night, so one of them will suffer a loss, and Hessing says if they continue to improve he’s confident they can be right with both teams when they play again later this season and challenge for the conference title. Pella Christian hosts Centerville in non conference boys only action tomorrow then returns to LHC play hosting South Tama Friday night
