The Knoxville Wrestlers finished 12th in the 16-team Big Red Invitational at Centerville on Saturday. Knoxville’s Jay Fresh finished second at 103 pounds for the Panthers best finish of the day. Lane Colwell at 130 pounds…Dylan Crouse at 140 pounds…and Colton Spaur at 152 pounds all earned fifth place medals. According to Assistant Coach Justin Krabe the guys wrestled better despite the fact nearly all of them had at least one ranked opponent they had to meet. Knoxville is back on the mat tomorrow when the Panthers take on Oskaloosa. That is a make up from a match that was postponed earlier this month due to weather.
