The five Haitian orphans that arrived on American soil earlier this morning will arrive in Pella tonight. Les and Tracy Fuller, the adoptive parents of two of the children, tell KNIA/KRLS News that they have received confirmation that a private jet from Pella Corporation is en route to pick up the children and Matt and Mandy Poulter in Florida, and will land in Pella at approximately 8:14 p.m. tonight. There is concern that the incoming winter storm could change flight plans, which would re-route the flight to Des Moines. The arrival of the Poulters and the five Haitian children will come exactly one week after the first of a series of earthquakes rocked Port-au-Prince Haiti, where the children lived.
