Like most basketball teams the P-C-M girls are past the halfway point of the season and are looking to play their best as the postseason lies ahead. Coach Ben Anderson says they are in the midst of a tournament-like part of their schedule. The Mustangs are playing Tuesday/Friday/Saturday for the next two weeks against the top teams in the Heart of Iowa Conference and some tough non-conference teams. Anderson says the younger players are getting an idea of what the postseason can be in this six game stretch. So far the Mustangs are 2-2 in this current six game portion of the schedule with wins over Bondurant-Farrar and Gilbert and loses to Nevada and South Hamilton. P-C-M plays host to Roland-Story tomorrow night and hosts Pella on Saturday night.
