There is still time to register for the first annual Lake Red Rock “Red Nose” ice fishing tournament being held this weekend near Pella. As of Tuesday evening, 55 teams had registered for the event, which will be held from 8:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday at Robert’s Creek, west of Pella.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers, which is based on the total weight of the fish caught and the total number of fish caught per team. Other prizes will be given away for various categories, along with raffle prizes and giveaways. The tournament is sponsored by Bass Pro Shops and the Red Rock Lake Association.
