Firefighters responded to a vehicle fire on the south side of Pella Thursday morning. A Dodge minivan caught fire shortly after nine o’clock in the 200 block of South Street in Pella, behind the Pella Redemption Center.

Members of the Pella Fire Department quickly extinguished the engine fire, but not before it caused major damage to the front of the vehicle. No one was injured in the incident. The Pella Police Department and Pella Ambulance both assisted at the scene.
