Central College senior Loren Liming  has been named the Iowa Conference male athlete of the week for the second time this season, he also received the honor just a couple weeks ago on January 18th.  Liming notched his seventh double-double of the season in a 78-76 overtime win over preseason league favorite Wartburg College at Pella Saturday, with 15 points and 16 rebounds. Last Wednesday Liming had 14 points and six rebounds as the Dutch knocked off defending champion Buena Vista Univ. 67-57.  He shot 61.1 percent from the field and made six blocks in the two games, with five assists and three steals.  The 6’7”  Liming is averaging 17.1 points per game, ranking fourth in the league, and is second in rebounding with 9.1 per game. He’s shooting 57.9 percent from the field and is fourth in the conference in blocks with 1.53 per game.   Central has a one-game lead in the conference race with a 9-2 mark and is 16-4 overall, its best record through 20 games since 1978- 1979
