The CEO of Iowa’s largest independent community bank will speak at Central College next month. Suku Radia, the CEO and president of Banker’s Trust will speak about his work “Banking: An Industry in Crisis.”

Radia was born and raised in Kampala, Uganda, and came to the United States in 1971 to study at Iowa State University, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business. Prior to joining Bankers’s Trust, he served as CFO of Meredith Corporation for eight years.

Radia’s appearance is funded by the support of Mark and Kay De Cook and Bruce and Sandy Heerema and will be held on Thursday, March 4th in the Cox-Snow Recital Hall at 11:00 a.m. The free event is open to the public.
