Former PCM standout Grant Burns scored 19 points and dished out seven assists to lead Grandview to an 85-71 win over William Penn in the Midwest Collegiate Conference championship game last night. Former Twin Cedars standout Jesse DeGeest scored six points in the season ending loss for William Penn. Burns has started all 32 games for the Vikings this season and averages seven points per game and has dished out 235 assists. DeGeest averaged 10 points and three rebounds per game this season for the Statesmen who end their season 20-12. Grandview improved to 25-7 with the win and earned the MCC automatic berth into the NAIA National Tournament.
