A 5-18 season was not what the Knoxville boys were planning on this season. A long losing streak during the middle portion of the season at time frustrated the Panthers but by the end of the season Coach Brad McWilliams says his team was playing much better. Knoxville knocked off Chariton in the first round of the class 3A District. McWilliams adds that victory showed everyone that Knoxville was not ready to pack in the season when it came down to the end.
