More post season honors are being handed out to players and coaches following the highly successful season for the Central men’s basketball team. Point guard Miguel Ley , forward Loren Liming and coach Mike Boschee received all-West Region men’s basketball recognition from D3hoops.com. Ley was a first-team all-region while Liming was a third-team choice and Boschee was cited as the West Region’s coach of the year. Ley earlier was named the Iowa Conference MVP and was a three time All Iowa Conference selection. He closed his Central career as the second-leading scorer in school history with 1,563 points. He tied the school season assists record (141) and was second in career assists (326). Liming averaged 17 points per game for the Dutch and was also a first team All Iowa Conference pick. Boschee, in his seventh season, piloted Central to its first outright conference title in 25 years and its first NCAA Division III tournament berth since 1995. He guided Central to a 23-5 mark, setting a school record for season wins and was earlier named the Iowa Conference Coach of the Year.
